Hi everyone.. I have been diagnosed with PCOS since 2016-17 and ever since I have been struggling with acne, slight hair loss and facial hair growth and most importantly like everyone — weight gain and difficulty of getting rid of that weight. In 2023, my endocrinologist have diagnosed me with fatty liver stage 1, my cholesterol and liver panel were just out of range. He told me I needed to be mindful with my diet. I was very open about my struggles with sweets like candies and also the fact that I could not lose weight no matter how hard I tried. I was at 62-64kg around that time at only 5ft in my early 30s. He then suggested I take mounjaro and with the weight I needed to lose he told me you only have to be pn it for a couple of months. I told him I will try one last time to do it on my own and if it wont work then I will go the mounjaro route. Long story short, through my own efforts and will, I didn’t lose any weight at all, and so I started my mounjaro journey in August 2025. i was able to lose about 19kg my last weigh in was 45.6kg this morning, still within normal bmi altho a bit on the low side.. but Iv never been this fit, slim, happy and confident in my whole adult life. I only had 2.5mg dose of mounjaro ever since I started and I took the decision to have my last shot last Sunday. The whole entire journey, I have completely followed a new lifestyle.. I have modified my diet, the amount of food I eat, the portions, the exercises and I am feeling a bit confident to continue the journey from this point onwards without mounjaro. But tbh, I am scared, Im scared to gain it all back. I never want to be in that weight ever again. I guess what Im trying to say or post about is.. I wanted to know if anyone else is on the same journey as me? And if so.. maybe you can share ur thoughts or experiences as well.
