I have been working as an office assistant in a medical field here in PH for about a year. Working for over 48 hours a week. I have plans on going abroad to become a factory worker instead since the salary here in PH isn't really paying the bills — I also have to give money to my family and to also finance my siblings' studies. I'm only earning PHP13,000 a month which isn't really enough for my family's and my needs. I'm the breadwinner and my dad is now a senior citizen meaning the burden of working and providing for our family will be passed on to me especially now that we are currently drowning in multiple debts. Is it worth it to resign from my current job and pursue a job abroad even if it's not aligned with my previous work?
