"blue dot" location indicator useless for me without a list of pre-approved/allowed apps
I used to pay attention to the dot top right, it was a really useful indicator of whats going on with my phone (camera, microphone).
Well, not anymore!
Now I have a blue dot up there two thirds of the time, because some smart home application, tasker, macrodroid, smartthings tag location etc. is using the phone location in the background.
Dude, I know these apps are using location services, this is totally fine for me! I want the dot to appear when OTHER applications I only use ocassionally or that I did not specifically allowlist show up - THAT would be actually useful!
So, how to fix this? Any workarounds? Or does this need an option to manually exclude/allowlist applications? Otherwise this feature is not only useless, it is downright annoying... :(
