There’s this weird thing that happens at shows where you’ll meet someone for maybe 10 minutes and then they just live in your brain forever.
You dance next to them for a set, trade kandi, share water, help them find their friend, hype each other up during one song, have one weirdly sincere little conversation… and then that’s it. Gone into the void.
And somehow it still feels real?
Not even in a romantic way. More like “damn, I hope that person is doing good.”
Raves create these tiny temporary friendships that feel way bigger than the actual amount of time you spent together.
Do you have a random rave stranger you still think about?
It has come to our notice that many posts are targeting individual people from the organising team and related agencies with hate posts and various forms of threats.
Criticising an organisation is fine but no hate speech or targeted harassment will be tolerated on this sub! You will get a permanent ban immediately if we find such a post or comment!! There is zero tolerance for this.
Remember that at the end of the day, they are humans too who have worked day and night to build an experience for you. They were never legally or morally liable for your losses and no human deserves to get mass threats of any kind.
Let's keep the environment constructive and hope for better times ahead
Bhai I'm done. Genuinely heartbroken.
KANYE WEST. In Delhi. After YEARS of begging, memeing, manifesting. Cancelled. Last minute. Of course.
And the worst part? Nobody was even surprised. That's what kills me. We've been so conditioned by the hype → ticket scramble → cancellation cycle that disappointment is now the default emotional state of being an Indian music fan. Every announcement comes with a voice in your head going, don't get too excited. And nine times out of ten, that voice is right.
I had friends fly in from Bangalore, Hyderabad, Kolkata. Hotels booked. Leave taken. Outfits planned. For NOTHING. The radio silence afterwards was the cherry on top.
And it's not even about Kanye. The ecosystem itself is broken. Venues that can't meet international standards. Tickets sold before anything's confirmed. Refunds that take months. Zero accountability. And an audience that keeps showing up anyway because we're STARVED.
We pay foreign-tier prices for sub-foreign experiences and get told to be grateful when anything actually happens. Coldplay being treated as a national achievement tells you how low the bar has fallen.
At this point I'd rather fly to Abu Dhabi or Bangkok. At least the show actually happens. Cheaper too when you factor in the mental peace of not getting heartbroken every six months.
I love this country. I love these artists. I just hate that loving both at the same time feels like a setup for pain every single time.
TL;DR: Kanye's cancellation didn't surprise anyone, and that's the actual tragedy. Our concert ecosystem runs on hype and broken promises. Save your money. Fly to Bangkok.
As all of us cope with what happened, we wanted to pen down a personal note
Someone said to us today that all your efforts went in vain. Well, we disagree! Over the last 10 weeks, we've built a community of 2000+ around this concert and amassed 1 million + impressions across all social platforms combined!
But more importantly, we got to help many prepare for this concert, helped the community with an AMA, informative posts and updates, and personally getting to know many of you on WhatsApp. Honestly, this was our first time scaling a community and it will always stay with us <3
For everyone who bought tickets from FOMO, we thank you for your trust and patience. You will get a full refund from us over the next 5-7 business days- no action required from your side. We'll personally reach out with details.
Also, we hope y'all believe that promoters and offline ticketing partners are a thing- you just gotta know the legit one!
You will soon be able to place orders via our app / website. More on that when we launch it soon!
Whitefox did mention that they are planning a new date and venue but knowing what we do, we won't be betting on it. However, if it happens, we will see y'all here won't we!
This is not just like any other cancellation- it is a setback and will have a ripple effect for India's live events ecosystem for months to come. We request the community to keep believing and keep showing up! Here are some things to look up to-
Rolling Loud was a blast last year and it's only gonna get better this time. A$ap Rocky is already rumoured to be performing this year. For updates- r/RollingLoudIndia
For all my ravers, Sunburn has already announced dates for this year with Illenium and SHM rumoured to be headlining. Follow along at- r/SunburnMumbai
Lastly, if you've ever felt that euphoria when you are in the crowd going bar for bar in a concert in India, you belong in r/DesiConcerts_
Our guy u/Aman7124 is planning to throw a house party next weekend! He has a bunch of lovely ideas including booking a villa, sorting out booze, catering, a DJ playing Kanye and other songs, and possibly a Gorilla & bouncy house xD
If you are in Delhi next weekend or you've booked a non-cancellable flight, this is the place to be!
If you are down, fill out this form by tomorrow eod- https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSfg29TZ0u5YASC8PhTQGSoyi7as4V-E4RzLlys4nokgeSgwyg/viewform?usp=dialog

Hey guys,
We are giving a flat 15% off on all tickets for limited number of tickets (around 5-6 varies by category). Applicable on all categories. Please reach out asap on 7676982684 if you'd like to book
P.S. this is completely safe and will be handled via fomo- complete refund guarantee if we fail to deliver and proofs available on demand
Someone by the name Harshit [+91 98198 29367] scammed multiple people after claiming to be a promoter and saying he's punching Gold tickets for ₹3000 - he was quoting lower prices for other stands as well.
We had banned him from this sub 2 days back after we got suspicious from the pricing but he might've still reached out in dms and on WhatsApp
He even sent these fake emails to the people who purchased from him- someone noticed the email ID was district.infotickets@gmail.com which is fake as any District email will have their domain district.in
I'm stating this once again-
Keep your money safe guys!
We've got a couple of complaints of people trynna scam in this sub and on WhatsApp. Thankfully no one lost any money till now so I'm posting this before someone does.
Here are some best practises to avoid getting scammed-
For Resale-
Screenshots of District, mails, Aadhaar are no proofs! A scammer can simply copy someone else's screenshot from Reddit, generate a fake Aadhaar via AI in minutes, or use the booking made for previous date for this concert even though they took a refund.
Find a seller from your own city and go for a face to face exchange- that's the only right way tbh.
If you want proof of purchase before going for f2f, ask the seller to verify tickets on the fomo app. That alone guarantees they have valid tickets for the new date of this concert. Its completely free - we never charge anyone anything.
For Promoter-
Don't buy from random people claiming to be promoters / offline partners. All partners are given the same price list so if someone's offering you a huge discount below that- they're most likely scamming.
Yes, offline promoters exist and yes they can add tickets to your district account directly. Buy from trusted ones only- not from a random person claiming to sell for 2k. DM us on 7676982684 and we can sort you out.
As a preventive measure, we are adding a new post flair "Verified on fomo app". If you got your tickets verified, send us your post in DM and we'll add that flair on your post as a trust signal.
Lastly, MODS are not responsible for any scams happening here or in DM's. Deal at your own risk. Hope y'all get the tickets you need safely!

We generated this using 3D rendered images of the stadium to maintain accuracy. Added crowd, lights, and production using AI
It's not just another concert - it's a fucking cultural moment for India
Only 14 days to go gng
We’re hosting an AMA tonight with u/Aman7124 who's currently working in regional artist management and on-ground support
He has experience working across live events and artist management, and will be answering questions around:
⏰ Time: Tonight: 8:45 PM - 10:45 PM
Drop your questions below for him to answer!
Important clarification:
He does not work with Whitefox. Be kind, respectful and keep questions constructive.
Any info shared here is not official and is purely from his past experiences- please refer to Whitefox / District's official page for actual facts.
YEEZUS FOR LIFE <3
A lot of people who are buying tickets from promoters like us are reluctant to buy because the row number is auto-assigned by the system for promoter tickets.
So I did some research and checked out some videos from Travis to decide how much it really matters. Seems like not a lot. Check this video for reference- https://www.youtube.com/shorts/XU2QPLPqh9I
The view would've been pretty much the same from almost all rows
What do you guys think? How much does it really affect your experience on a scale of 1-10?
