Was this employer dismissive of a legitimate employee privacy concern about digitally measuring performance?
My employer recently adopted a support ticket management system that measures how many seconds it takes a support agent to type an answer. A business reason has not been given, the users have not been informed and it is unclear how the data is used.
I raised my concern and I have been told to not worry about that and to worry more about the performance of the systems my team and I support.
What are your thoughts? I found the answer rather off-putting.
