Transferring old dive logs to Suunto app – possible?

Hey everyone,
I asked here recently if anyone owns the new Suunto Nautic (not the S version, the actual dive computer). I'm now seriously considering getting one, but I still have one last question for Suunto users.

Is it possible to import or transfer old dive logs into the Suunto app/logbook? I’ve logged around 200 dives so far using Subsurface, and I’d really like to keep everything in one place.

Does anyone know if there’s a reliable way to transfer those dives to the Suunto app?

Canon R6 Mark II vs DJI Osmo Action 5 – FPS, Resolution & Playback Issues

Hey everyone,

I recently started testing my Canon EOS R6 Mark II and DJI Osmo Action 5, and since I’m still pretty new to all of this, I ran into a few things I don’t fully understand.

I recorded videos on both cameras using different resolutions and frame rates. I uploaded two example clips (clearly labeled) via WeTransfer (no Scam or Virus :D) that are relevant to my questions.

Here are the things I’m confused about:

1. Canon footage not smooth (even at 4K 60fps?)
In the Canon clips (and actually all my Canon recordings), the footage doesn’t look as smooth as the DJI footage. According to my settings, I recorded in 4K at 60fps, so I expected it to be very smooth. Does anyone know what could be causing this? Could it be related to settings, shutter speed, or something else?

2. 2. What does the "P" & “IPB” mean in Canon video settings?
In the Canon menu, I see different recording options, and many of them have a “P” next to them.

  • Does the “P” stand for in the picture?
  • And what is the purpose of the button that appears next to every second option?

3. Resolution vs FPS (especially for diving with DJI)
On the DJI, I can shoot 4K at 50fps, but when I go up to 100fps, my PC struggles to handle the footage.

So I’m wondering:

  • What’s generally better: higher resolution + lower FPS or lower resolution + higher FPS?
  • My main use case for the DJI is diving footage, so I’d really appreciate recommendations specific to underwater filming.

Neuen PC zusammenbauen - Hilfe gesucht

Hallo zusammen, ich bin freier Grafiker und brauche dringend mal einen neuen PC. Ich habe erst vor kurzem meinen RAM und Festplatten erweitert, aber die Videobearbeitung ist leider noch immer eine Katastrophe. Kann mir jemand in Köln jemanden, Unternehmen oder Privatperson, empfehlen, welche mir bei meinem Problem helfen kann meinen aktuellen PC aufzurüsten bzw. einen neuen zu kaufen. Mit meinem Wissen bin ich leider am Ende angekommen :D
