Ryu Ascension Concept (Redesign inspired by SuketoHanaHana and Last AirBender 2026 movie)
I just found super-professional fan manga created by SuketoHanaHana (Twitter).
They've written "Do not repost" on their hard works and I can't read Japanese, so I can only describe roughly that they specialize in BoF3 and 4 slice-of-life cute relationships with a tiny dash of epic cool action scenes. Please go support and enjoy their fan creations.
My dream would be that someone who speaks Japanese, would remind them to love what they draw and create for all these years. Those are way too polished to feel upset about and posted online for free. They can try applying for a Capcom license to sell as official merchandise or spin-off manga or those gorgeous tarot cards!
Side Notes:
I redesigned Ryu, for the 5th time! I think... that one piece of hair fringe that never turns with head has been driving me crazy. Thankfully SuketoHanaHana drew it in a position that finally solves the geometry problem.
The grown-up redesigns of characters in the latest Last Airbender animated movie were mesmerizing and seemed like a fun experiment to blend onto BoF3 Ryu's design.
It is devastating to hear about how the animators had to suffer the leak after pouring in so many years of hard work and fighting to get this project to exist in the first place.
