I honestly don’t know where to start, but people need to be aware of this.

Vinted is by far the worst place I’ve ever shopped. I run my own business, and my number one priority is always the customer experience — clearly that’s not the case here. It feels like Vinted only cares about themselves and hides behind completely useless customer service.

About a month ago, I bought a Fendi handbag through the platform. It wasn’t cheap, so naturally I expected some level of authenticity and accountability. When the bag arrived, it was obviously fake — plastic material, poor stitching, nothing close to real leather. No doubt about it.

I filed a claim immediately and provided:
• Detailed photos showing the flaws

•	Evidence pointing out inconsistencies

•	A professional authentication review confirming it was counterfeit

According to Vinted’s own buyer protection policy, counterfeit items are not allowed and buyers should be entitled to either:

A) Return the item for a refund
or
B) Receive a refund directly

Despite all of this, they didn’t properly review the case. Instead, they released the payment to the seller anyway — and then blocked my account.
So not only did I receive a fake item, but I was also completely shut out after trying to resolve it.

From a legal standpoint, selling counterfeit goods and ignoring documented claims raises serious issues. I have all the evidence saved, including the authentication report and communication history, and I will be pursuing this further through legal channels.

If there is a Vinted employee lurking in the comments… just do your job better for fuks sake.

Has anyone else experienced something similar with Vinted? I’d really like to hear how you handled it.
