The Great Color War: Prologue
Once upon a time The Badlands were a place of constant fighting, however the fighting would eventually end as suddenly as it began. On that day The Badlands looked forward to a bright future. As time went on The Badlands recovered, with 3 generations living in the Badlands who only knew of war through the stories passed down from their elders. Sadly while they were finally able to put this chapter of their history behind them, this peace wouldn't last. For on October 10th 2007 the citizens of Teufort awoke to a sound which haunted them, a sound they thought they'd never hear again, the sound of war.
At first the people were confused and afraid, these Teufort citizens grew up hearing stories of the Teufort 9 and the war they waged. Now it seemed those old tales were coming to life. But the reality was much more terrifying, for when they looked to where the sounds came from they didn't see two teams of 9, they saw two entire armies wearing those infamous colors, one Red, the other Blu. And so the fighting began once again and the Badlands were plunged into chaos once more. This new conflict would originally be dubbed The 2nd Gravel Wars, however it would later be changed to The Great Color War.
Initially the fighting was contained to The Badlands like before. But with the expanded fighting force Red and Blu had this time round, it quickly bleed into greater America, England, Australia, and before long Red and Blu had Mercs stationed in every part of the world. This expansion wasn't just militarily but also one of Propaganda, Red and Blu weren't just establishing these bases to counter their enemy, but also to replenish their forces. This propaganda machine, in addition to the military might, and absolute stubbornness of both Red and Blu effectively ended the world as it was known. With the Great Color War steady expansion it collapsed not only governments but Civilization itself. The world would devolve, consumed by the War, and in the end the only civilizations that remained were Red, Blu, and individual towns. So begins the tale of The Great Color War.
