My child’s father is refusing to sign an agreement acknowledging my decision to join the Air Force and agree to the family care plan I have set in place, where my parents will have temporary guardianship over my son while I’m away. We have a timeshare agreement where I have our son every week and the father has him every other weekend. He refuses to agree because he doesn’t want to get our son from my parents. Does anyone have helpful advice on how to navigate this issue? I can’t move forward in the recruiting process without him agreeing to this information but he’s purposely trying to hold me back from joining.
