Dear international students, when in final year did you receive your certificate of sponsorship (CoS) and how long did it take to get your skilled worker visa?

I heard you have to be physically in the UK during the whole visa process. I’m currently in my penultimate year. After finals in my final year, I will be abroad for my elective, then returning to the UK for 4 weeks from late May to late June for further placement, then going back home abroad for the summer. I was therefore wondering if I will receive my CoS by late may and if the 4 weeks that I’m in the UK for gives me enough time to apply for and receive my skilled worker visa.
