Hey,
I’ve been working full-time as a freelancer running ai automation and multi-account setups for a while now, and proxies are easily the most important part of my workflow.
Over the last year especially, I’ve tested a bunch of different providers across different use cases. This isn’t sponsored or anything, just what I’ve personally experienced.
Quick context (so you know how I’m judging)
Most of my work involves:
- IG & TikTok multi-accounting
- Gmail account creation and warmups
- Browser profile setups (Multilogin, Dolphin, etc.)
- Automation tools (Puppeteer, Playwright)
What matters most to me:
- Login success rate
- Session stability
- IP quality (how often accounts get flagged)
- Consistency over time
1. KarmicProxies (best overall for serious setups)
What I used it for:
- Scaling IG & TikTok accounts
- Gmail creation
- Long-running automation
Why I rate it #1:
- Very consistent login success
- Low captcha rates
- Sessions actually stay stable
- IPs feel clean and less flagged
Downsides:
- Not the cheapest
- Not as well-known as bigger providers
Verdict:
For anything important, this is the one I trust the most. It simply caused fewer problems in day-to-day use.
2. Decodo (Smartproxy)
What I used it for:
- Scraping
- Large-scale account farming
- General automation
Pros:
- Fast and easy to scale
- Good pricing
Cons:
- Sessions can be inconsistent
- More flags on social platforms
- IP quality varies
Verdict:
Good value for money, especially if you need volume. Just not ideal for sensitive accounts.
3. NetNut (strong for scraping)
What I used it for:
- Data scraping
- Monitoring workflows
- Some account warmups
Pros:
- Stable connections
- Static IP options
- Reliable for scraping
Cons:
- Expensive
- Social platforms detect it more often
- Slightly more complex setup
Verdict:
Solid for scraping tasks, but not my go-to for multi-accounting.
4. SOAX (good features, mixed results)
What I used it for:
- Geo-targeted tasks
- Light automation
- Testing setups
Pros:
- Strong geo targeting
- Easy to use dashboard
Cons:
- Inconsistent speeds
- Sessions sometimes unstable
- Not great under heavy load
Verdict:
Decent for specific use cases, but not reliable enough for core workflows.
5. IPRoyal (entry-level option)
What I used it for:
- Testing
- Disposable accounts
- Small automation tasks
Pros:
- Easy to get started
Cons:
- Low success rates
- Weak session control
- Not reliable for serious use
Verdict:
Fine for beginners, but you’ll outgrow it quickly.
Final thoughts
From my experience:
- If you’re running serious setups, stability matters more than price
- Cheaper providers can work, but come with tradeoffs
- No proxy is perfect, testing is always part of the game
Personally, I ended up using KarmicProxies the most because it was the most consistent in real use.
Would be interesting to hear what others are using in 2026, especially for TikTok and IG setups 👀
