Seeking perspective from girl/women who have survived long-term betrayal (9+ years)
Hi everyone,
I am a 32-year-old man from Surat, currently navigating a very dark phase. After 9 years of what I thought was a selfless and committed relationship, I was hit with a massive betrayal. I found out she had been double-dating me with another guy for the last 3 years, and now she is moving towards marriage with him.
To make things worse, she lives in my own society, just 9 houses away in the same lane. Seeing her and her family every day is a constant trigger and is making my healing process almost impossible.
I am specifically looking to talk to women or girls who have faced a similar long-term betrayal or "dhoko." I believe a female perspective would help me understand the emotional side of this better and help me figure out how to move on when the person is constantly in your sight.
