I'm hoping some locals can help me out here.

My friend and I are heading to Auckland this weekend to see the Pink Floyd Experience on Friday, and Mumford and Sons on Sat. We are staying close to the Spark Arena - so can easily walk on Sat night, but not sure on the best way to get to the shore on Fri night.
We are fully prepared to Uber or similar, but wondered if there is an easier/cheaper way (public transport or similar).

I know Auckland reasonably well, but I'm usually staying with family and have access to a car/driver - this time I'm reliant on taxis/uber and public transport :)
