Bought a new car Nov 2025 and paid cash. Temp tag expired in Dec 2025. I’ve spoken to 5 people at the dealership, I’ve spoken to the tag office, put them in contact. I’ve done all lots of leg work, followed up countless times. I have records of emails, phone calls, and text messages to employees of the dealership. I haven’t been able to drive the car in months. Police presence is strict where I live and driving with expired tags is illegal. Is there anything I can do legally to get the dealership to take back the car or compensate me for the 6 months I haven’t been able to drive it?
