Im currently 19 in college and Ive been looking for a new car. Currently I have a 2009 328i Ive had the car for maybe 4 or 5 months and well I’ve had nothing but electrical issues and im planning to sell it eventually. Ive been looking at a 2nd gen is250 and is350 i know the is250 is known for having carbon build up issues and the is350 has more power and is fairly reliable but I wanted to know if there are other issues that I should be aware of like electrical issues or any other mechanical issues. Also I do know how to do routine maintenance like oil changes spark-plugs brake pads etc. , and before owning my bmw i would drive my dads 2013 RS camaro and learned to do some work on that as well. I would really appreciate if I could find some answers and get a good idea on how the ownership is on these cars and if looking into other cars would be a better idea. Thanks!
