Hi everyone,

First year garlic grower from Hungary. We are currently growing 1.8 hectares (about ~4.5 acres).

This is my first post here, so apologies in advance if I’m doing something wrong.

Unfortunately, we’ve started noticing some concerning symptoms on our plants, which are:

-Leaves are twisting and curling

-White/silvery feeding marks on the leaves

-Some leaves seem to stick together

I suspected some kind of pest, but so far when cutting open the bulbs, we haven’t found any larvae inside.

I’m attaching multiple photos showing the damage from different angles.

Does anyone recognize this type of damage? Could this be leek moth, onion fly, or something else?

Any advice or experience would be greatly appreciated!
