I need to setup some simple retention policy and to start with I just created a retention policy where only my own mail account was included - and set retention policy to 5 days.

So as I understand if I delete a mail from yesterday (totally delete it also from recoverable items) - I should still be able to find this email through ediscovery

I have checked in powershell that my email account is having this retention policy and it is also enabled.
So I delete a mail that is 1 day old and then run a ediscvoery.

I Export the PST from ediscovery and add it to my outlook classic - but the mail I totally deleted is not there. I can see all the other mails I have, but not the deleted one

Is it something i miss here ? - shouldnt it work that way that things are retained even if manually have removed it first.

In our tenant it seems that copilot translate in powerpoint is just gone ? Users have full license and does also see the copilot in powerpoint, but translate does not appear anymore

The powerpoint used is in onedrive/teams, which as far I an see is a requirement before the translate appear

Anyone with same issue ? cannot see any tenant settings where this can be disabled
