I'm really glad to be living by my values.

I'm really glad to be living by my values.

Hi everyone. I just wanted to share that I've been able to help buy my friend some groceries and other household items. She's been struggling since moving out from home. I understand my friend has difficulties managing everything and is inexperienced with most tasks. She doesn't want to ask for help but I won't stand her having an empty fridge. I've been sneaky by bringing her meals that are more then a single serving. I always excuse it by saying that there was a sale. I can tell that she's really grateful since I can hear it in her voice. I'm really grateful to the Gods for this opportunity to practice my values.

What are good financial goals besides saving when you're poor/low income.

This is something that I've been thinking about very often because I really can't find other financial goals besides saving money. Every other bit of advice can't be applicable to the reality of everyday life. Any recommendations or personal experiences are welcomed. For myself I know a higher paying job is one thing I'm working towards for a better financial situation. Is it really just saving money the only thing that a low income person can work towards?
