Hi ladies, i need your help. I was diagnosed with BV in January and my gyno prescribed me antibiotics and a fungal cream. After the antibiotics treatment i got a yeast infection, first time in my life. I didn’t realize at first and had sex with my boyfriend, and he got a rash and 1 day later I developed symptoms. I have been battling with it since. I took flucozan and 3 day canesten treatment, symptoms were gone but then my period came and then back again. I then took 2 flucozans and 3 day montistat but symptoms didn’t clear. I then did 7 doses of boric acid and by day 4-5 symptoms were again gone. I am also taking probiotics supplements orally. After finishing the last dose if boric acid, 1-2 days later i had my period. I was fine until the last 2 days of my period when something started to feel off again, so when it ended i did 3 doses of boric acid. Now, 4 days later after my last fose i feel the symptoms coming back.
I am in the US with no insurance, but i will be traveling back to my country and I already have an appointment with my gyno in 5-6 weeks.
Any advice is greatly appreciated!! I am tired, and my sex life is taking a hit. It’s been 3 months with this
