Hi y'all. Currently looking for a new bike, and I'm very interested in moving to drop bars. My commute is right now between 10-18km per direction per day entirely on pavement, mostly on dedicated bike trails.

My total budget is no greater than ~$800 (but I would love if it could go cheaper), and my 2 requirements are that it has disc brakes and compatibility for a rack as I sometimes need to haul things.

I've looked at a few options, but all are either out of stock and/or far out of my price class.

I would love any and all suggestions!
