Hey guys,

I live in Illinois in a home that the backyard is in the East and front yard is in the West. My backyard and the sides of my house get full sun, from sun up to basically sun down. around 7PM, my house will cast a shadow in the backyard. My front yard will get sun around 3PM.

Question for this group is: Which colorful hydrangea type would thrive in my backyard and front yard? My backup option would be Panicle Hydrangeas, but was wondering if something like a “Big Daddy” hydrangea variant would tolerate that much sun?
