Hey. I'd first like to clarify that approach I mean, like, literally just starting a conversation. (or making friends really!)
I've always thought of it as kind of weird if a guy just randomly DMs a girl outta nowhere (no we're NOT talking about a hey/hello) even if that's a completely normal thing like literally just a reply to an instagram story. Always assumed a girl would just think of me trying to hit on her. You could say that's pretty irrational of me.
You might wonder, "hey buddy why don't you just touch grass & make friends irl it aint that hard" Welp, I've been in a boys-only school for a long time now, and there's NO realistic way of me socializing with girls of my neighbourhood. And cherry on top, I don't even have a sister nor any female cousins even REMOTELY close to my age. Looking at the absurdity of this question if you had come to the assumption that this guy does not have any female interaction IRL, congrats, you were right.
All fantasies, pubertal hormones & desperation-to-be-loved put aside; it would be very unhealthy for me to be in my 20s and still have no idea how to talk with girls as that could affect completely normal day-to-day activities. I've had female friends before but now I'm back to square one & the internet pretty much boils down to the one viable option for me as of now, so I'd love to hear y'alls thoughts on how this abomination of an ape could indulge in perfectly normal and mammalian linguistic exchange of thoughts!
(yes you could say that "just go hangout in a discord server with people of similar interests" but most of the big communities I've seen already have well-established friend circles chatting/too overcrowded to start a proper convo/too undercrowded to not stand out too much but I might just be generalizing things too much)
(yes I might not be sane)
(yes I love the rule of thirds!)
(yes I just made the above sentence contradictory)
PS: this incredibly meaningfull wall of text will probably be seen by nobody but now that I've said that this will get some traction but now that I've acknowledged this therefore it will be seen by nobody).
PPS: What the fuck have I written.
PPPS: I'm aware this is making it look unserious & light-hearted but this genuinely interferes with my social life
PPPPS: Thank you for reading the whole thing.
