booted my pc today to find the nvidia drivers not working. double monitor setup would not work (only primary display showing) and 150% scaling settings were reverted. screen would corrupt pixels when moving the cursor. running nvidia-smi would return no gpus available (i have a 5070 ti). i ran apt update and upgrade, and now it’s stuck on the current screen for the last 30 minutes. unplugging the monitor and replugging into the motherboard does nothing (but replugging in the gpu slot gives same screen as before). shortcuts like ctrl alt f3 dont work. I havent forced a reboot yet. What should i do? (Ubuntu 24.04)
