Fear speculations and the generalist project

What is the deal with all the fear and wild speculation?

The moment the homepage is down or running slowly for just an hour, masses of people here seem to think the company is dead, that all the freelancers have been scammed, and that no one is ever going to get paid for their work.

WTF? It is the most normal thing in the world for a website, especially one like this, to be inaccessible or slow every now and then.

This happens most likely because work/chnages is currently being done on it, or because an unusually high number of visitors are accessing it for a brief period.

Then there’s the genrealist Project....

I feel so sorry for the project managers and leads.

I’ve been doing this for three years now and tthis is my third project here at Mercor, and I have never seen anything like this.

The way so many people are behaving in the Slack channel is incredibly disrespectful to everyone else.

We actually get paid for the onboarding process, yet 80% of the questions being asked are about things you supposedly "learned" during that onboarding.I don't even want to know how many people claimed payment for the onboarding but didn't actually spend a single second going through it; otherwise, they wouldn't be asking all these ridiculous questions and making such a fuss with their posts.

Everyone just needs to take a deep breath and calmly read through their onboarding materials.

Please calm down, the world (or mercor) isn't ending right now.

Thank you so much
