New to IEMs - what would you recommend

I’m pretty new to IEMs, but I’ve been doing some research recently and I’m interested in getting my first serious pair. Until now I’ve mostly used AirPods Pro, so I’m looking for something that would feel like a clear upgrade in actual sound quality.
My budget is around $300 max. I care mostly about sound quality, especially clarity, detail, separation, and overall enjoyment of music. I’m not expecting wireless convenience, ANC, or transparency mode like AirPods. I mainly want something that sounds noticeably better when I’m just listening to music.
I listen to a mix of genres, so I’d prefer something that works well as an all-rounder rather than something extremely niche. I’d like good bass, but not muddy or overpowering, and I don’t want something painfully sharp or fatiguing if I listen for a while. Comfort is a pretty good thing too.
