So, my plumeria has come back to life after a hard freeze in February, however, one of the branches (that doesn’t have growth) has recently developed this fungus looking thing.

What to do?

Is this something that could spread to the branches that have come back? The branch that has this growth is still hard and saps when pricked so I chose not to cut it off thus far.

Advise?
