[General - US - MA] converting apartments into co-ops?
Say I want to buy apartment buildings, then sell them to the tenants over time to make my money back plus 15 or 20%, eventually signing it over to them, where they own and operate it as a co-op. Could one not theoretically ramp this up to such a degree they're rapidly transferring ownership of these assets to the people who live in them, lifting an enormous burden from the populace, while still making a good living doing so?
