I've just finished reading Middlemarch and I have a question
I feel like Dorothea's ending has a message, but it's kind of an antifeminist one, because it's telling women to dedicate themselves to small actions to better the world instead of trying to do anything that's more ambitious.
I know that George Eliot's main concern was not feminist in matter, but this is what came to my mind.
Am I missing something?
