Stuff in movies that takes you out of the experience?

I saw an old Burt Reynolds movie called "GATOR" (a sequel to "White Lightning") the other night. It takes place in the deep South. You can feel the humidity and the bugs...

In the movie, Burt works all day (no A/C) for a thug doing various things (crimes etc etc). He tells the thug he wants to quit. The thug gives him a tall drugged glass of whisky that causes Burt to pass out upon finishing every drop. Burt wakes up in his car the next day-- same clothes. Burt immediately sets upon finding the thug for payback. I found myself preoccupied that he didn't pee, shower, drink water, have breakfast, brush his teeth or change his clothing. He just goes about the day which includes heavily, and successfully, flirting with the leading lady which includes getting so close to her she had to smell his odor and breath. Yet if she did... She was not repulsed.

All I could think about was 2 things... He's wearing the same sweaty clothes as yesterday and wouldn't he need to hydrate? Come on the guy got drugged. It wouldn't have hurt the plot for him to get a single glass of water.

I'm looking to get someone a cool yoga studio shirt as a gift. One of the ones that says the studio name -- exotic or local-- kind of like getting a Golds Gym shirt except for yoga. Anyone know of any?
