Bought this at auction for $32. Control board, auger, hopper ventilation fan, low pellet sensor, thermostat, and heating element all work. Test with pellets produced plenty of smoke but the combustion fan did not turn, was very hot to the touch, and it was stiff when turned by hand so I ordered a new one from Pellethead for $30. Inside was a bit rusty but a wire cup brush on a drill and some evapo-rust got it pretty clean. Grates cleaned up beautifully.

While I wait for the fan to be delivered, any advice for this one? I don't have any experience with pellets, and I have limited experience smoking in general, but I have wanted a smoker for a long time. I saw the wifi upgrade board, is that a useful upgrade? Open to any advice.
