Recent experience IAH → CLT → AUH → on American + Etihad?
Flying Houston → Charlotte on American May 13, then Etihad to Abu Dhabi and Colombo. Economy/basic fare with 1 checked bag and cabin item.
Wanted to ask:
- How strict was Etihad with carry-on weight?
- Was CLT → AUH very full/crowded?
- Anything to watch out for on this route?
- Does this include a carry on luggage and personal item.
Traveling with kids, so trying to avoid surprises.
