Hi everyone,
I have a strange problem with my new Asus Zephyrus G14 2025 with Nvidia 5070ti.
The issue is the following:
Only with SILENT mode and MANUAL modes created with G-Helper the GPU, launching a benchmark or game after a while time (depending of GPU load) gpu core clock lower to 700mhz 0,625 of voltage and 45W of conumption eventough I set all GPU Wattage slider to MAX.
In silent mode if I set slider wattage all to minimun limit and ccore clock atr 1500mhz in the GPU wattage in game is about 65W and this behavior generally doesn't happened and I can play smootly for hours but I try to get some more clock (like 1600 1700mhz) after 10-15 minutes gpu clock core lower to 700mhz, consumption fixed at 45W and I get the described issue and games become barrely playable.
In Manual mode the issue is more important and intolerable because this behavior happened quite immediately. If i set slider to max TGP with Furmark or 3dmark I obtain around 120W for 1 minute then fixed to 45W and 65° temp GPU.
Temperature is not a problem, during the time which the GPU load at 120W near reach 80° and fans just starting to spin.
In BALANCED and TURBO mode the GPU works perfectly at max TGP set for all the time and fans spin up and remain loudly. All the settings respect the slider. TGP never change but in this conditions but the laptop is too loud for me and the extra power for most games doesn't matter gaining only 5-10 fps (80 to 85-90fps) obtaining only extra noise and high temperature.
If you are asking for the cause I won't use Turbo mode the why is I would like to create profiles for various type of CPU depending games bases on my needs and this issue won't let me and i'm forced to modify BLANCED and TURBO mode everytime
For this problem I tried everything, enable and disable optimus, I set CPU from 30 to 80W with and without boost. I changed powerplan from balance to high performance, nothing. I tried in Nvidia app Prefer max performance active... no way.
The Nvidia driver is 595.79 (studio) and Windows 11 is a clean install with directly G-Helper and all drivers installed correctly and update. Bios is 310 (the last one)
If someone knows how to help me I would appreciate much.
