Anxiety from overtraining or under fueling?
Have recently been training for an Ironman 70.3 after years of being inactive. This has been a process and have worked my way up to normally two workouts a day. Usually one in the morning(normally 1 hour indoor cycle) before work and another during my lunch break or shortly after I’m done with work (treadmill run + gym). Intensities vary and so does my diet, which is normally pretty healthy. I eat a few eggs + sourdough after my workout, protein shake for lunch and then lean ground beef + sweet potato and another protein shake for dinner.
I’m not sure if it’s due to overtraining or under fueling but have started to develop bad anxiety at times that’s not normal for me…
Not sure if anyone has had a similar experience and has any recommendations, but it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
