I thought I'd try to draw a mermaid, since it's Mermay. The braids wrapped on the end of her tail represent the number of times she has crossed the ocean.

I decided to make another Pomu drawing this morning, and wanted to post it here. I'm not sure if it's okay to make multiple posts of the same creature or character on this subreddit. If it's a problem, I'll focus on other things. I'm not experienced in coloring, shading, or drawing hands, so any constructive criticism is appreciated. Pomu like to wear hats during the summer to protect their leaves from wilting. They tend to be welcoming to humans they deem as non-threatening.

I've been doodling these little gremlins on and off for a while now. Pomu is a plant species that produces sapient fruits (Referred to by the same name). Their intelligence is similar to that of a 10-year-old human and allows them to seek out ideal growing locations, cultivate their own seeds, and protect the vulnerable sprouting Pomu from animals. Pomu typically work together in small groups, building out large plantations for greater efficiency.
