I was prescribed antibiotics yesterday and told if no improvement in 48 hours to go back to doctor. it’s only been 24 hours and I am still in agony, should I have seen some improvement already or do I need to wait the extra day?

If you’ve had mastitis how long did it take for the meds to kick in? Any help much appreciated, I am scaring myself reading about abscess and MRSA and I don’t know what to do
