ISSUE:
I'm having this issue over 2 years only with superlight 2 / superstrike in wireless mode and i literally tried everything to fix it i just can't come up with a solution. i find something , it feels nice for a bit then that weird , inconsistent , icy glide comes back. when i plug the wire it works perfectly fine but when it's wireless.... i just can't perform. i tried so many other mice in wireless just to test it out if i just can't control when mouses are wireless due to cable not dragging it but no it just feels off with superlight. every other mice works flawlessly... i tried to downgrade lighspeed receiver in device manager and it seemed to help with the consistency but the overall performance went down. i really don't know what to do at this point , i could really use your help...
FIX: I have tried so many things in this last 2 years and many of them worked for a short period of them but eventually the problem came back so i'm not sure if it's permanent but feels like that for now. i played over an hour and it feels stable and raw as hell. i will update if anything changes after a week.
The solution was ENABLING "FCH SPREAD SPECTRUM" in bios. as far as i read it decreases the EM wave spread and it doesn't interfeare with 2.4ghz wireless of the mice.
it's just a theory but seems like it's working for me ! give it a try if you can't solve it ! i especially had this problem with GPX2 and i made a quick re-search. i found that the "lightspeed" connection has very agressive low latency tuning so it's vulnerable to interfearence (?).
so yeah , give it a try!
the reason i'm sharing this post is there are many people having this problem and can't find a solution , i can understand how bad it feels. i'm not sure if it's going to be the certain solution for you but it's something that seems to work for me ( at least for now ) so wanted to give another option!
edit ( 1.05.2026) :
also you might want to try
-Turning Global C - states off
-Hd audio controller off ( if you are not using motherboards sound card )
-Power Supply Idle Control : Typical Current Idle
XHCL-Hands off : Enabled
CPPC: auto
i tried all those settings and i find this to be fitting best for me. you can give it a try. also after connecting your lightspeed receiver to pc , download g hub for the receiver driver update. after that make sure you turn off the gaming surface and delete the g hub. after that you can do your settings from on board memory manager and i find onboard memory manager to be better since i have everything i need there. hope this helps you...
