Félicette. In 1963, she became the first (and only) cat in space.

In 1963, the French space program sent her (a Parisian tuxedo stray!) into space. She actually survived the flight and came back safely, but her story has a really sad ending.

Scientists had implanted electrodes in her brain to monitor her during the mission, and they ended up euthanizing her two months later just to study her brain tissue. The worst part? They later admitted they didn’t even learn much from it.

For a long time, she was forgotten or misidentified as a male cat named Felix, but she finally got a statue in France a few years ago. She was a brave little soul who deserved a long life on a couch, not a lab. Rest in peace, Astrocat

One of the best showcasing of speed

By stripping away fluid transitions for "instant" frame-to-frame teleports, they made his movement feel faster than the eye could track. This minimalist approach turned Buuhan’s fastest flurries into static air, emphasizing a huge speed gap

430000 applications?! 🤯 while this number is unconfirmed that’s what experts are saying JP Morgan got in the past 24 hours… and I’m not gonna lie I am disappointed 😐

some people were saying they’d work there for free 💀 just to have the opportunity and I really don’t think this is even about the company’s prestige at this point 🤨 like what are you even gonna say when they ask “why do you want to work at JP Morgan?” 🤔

i get it, getting a new job is exciting… but no job is worth applying 7 times a day 😭

we really live in the most unserious generation ever 😭🥀 but at the same time this might be the hungriest one too 🐺
