Hi all,

I’m chasing an intermittent fault on an Arburg Allrounder 570 S 2200-800 / 170 and could use some advice from anyone familiar with these machines.

Fault history:

Initially had Y707 “cable O/C pressure sensor”

At the same time started getting Y303 “cable rupture”

Faults would appear individually (not both at once)

Both would trigger after ~30 seconds of cycle/start-up

Machine would eventually fault out and stop

What I’ve done so far:

Replaced the Y707 pressure sensor → so far that fault has not returned

Checked cabinet cooling fans → all working correctly

Inspected/checked wiring visually

Tried wiggling cables (especially around suspected Y303 area under screw/plastification zone) → no change in fault behaviour

Current situation:

Y707 seems resolved after sensor replacement

Y303 cable rupture fault is still persistent

Fault still appears after ~30 seconds consistently

New finding:

I’ve traced both Y303 and Y707 back and they appear to share B10 board supply/reference (I believe both sensor supplies come from this board).

Because of this, I’m starting to suspect it may not be individual sensors/cables anymore, but something common like:

B10 supply instability

analogue input board issue

shared 24V / reference voltage problem

grounding issue

Question:

Has anyone seen similar behaviour where multiple “cable rupture” / O/C sensor faults appear across different channels and it ended up being:

B10 board failure

power supply instability

analogue input card issue

or a common reference/earth problem?

Any pointers on what to check next on these machines would be appreciated.

Thanks 👍
