Getting married way ahead of our plans because my STEM OPT extension was denied. Want to see if we have enough evidence as newlyweds.
Met her in college and moved in together both in the dorms and apartment, where we still live together.
- Joint lease since 2024 (with a 3rd roomate living with us)
- Joint Costco membership
- Utility bills (they are only paid by me tho)
- Proof of splitting bills going back go 2024 (zelle records and money splitting calculations, which includes 3rd roomate)
- A planned trip to Philly together later in June (plane tickets and Airbnb recipt)
- 40+ photos dating back to when we first met
- 30+ photos of our text messages
- Wife authorised on my credit card (no statmets yet)
- My motorcycle loan, with her dad co-signing it
We don't have joint bank accounts yet because we're poor (so no 401k, retirements plans, etc), and no joint auto insurance because I'm only licensed for a motorcycle and she's only licensed for a car. I can probably dig up joint renters insurance, since our landlord includes it in the rent. My wife also has her dad's address listed on her ID because she didn't renew it.
I will be filing for GC about 2-4 weeks after our courthouse marriage because of my status ending soon. Are there any potential red flags we might raise with the current list of evidence?
