My previous car was an '80s Lotus, and my current car is a Mitsubishi Evolution IX (owned since new).

Clearly, I love sports cars, especially ones that handle well. So, I'm looking for an EV with a similar sort of "fun" factor and a range of at least 300km (preferably 550km).

What I've considered is:

• Hyundai Ionic N 5
• The MG4 Excite 51
• Polestar 2

The Ionic N 5 sounds great, but I'm pegging my budget at under $100k. The MG4 sounds like a bargain, but I've seen a few horror stories that make me nervous. I've heard good things from people who own the Polestar 2, but reviews don't give me the impression that it has good handling. Love to hear from people who've any of these.

What other sub-$100k EVs (apart from Tesla) have decent (>300km) range and handle well?
