I got accepted into ICU, and I was reading the entrance procedure guide and saw that we have to take a JLP placement test, including a 45-minute handwritten essay.

I’m a bit confused and nervous about this. Is the essay in Japanese or English? How difficult is it, and what kind of topics do they usually give? Also, is it something I should prepare for, or is it really just to check your level?

If anyone has taken it before, I’d really appreciate hearing your experience!
