Taking a break from everyday tasks, I decided to make a realistic LCD display. The display consists of three layers: an LED layer, a liquid crystal layer, and an RGB color filter. Light from the LED layer passes through the liquid crystal layer and hits the color filter. To achieve this simulation, I split each pixel of the texture into 3 channels (RGB), then each channel controls the light transmittance of the liquid crystals. The UV of one pixel equals one pixel of the texture itself. You can also use a video file as the texture :)
