Hi everyone!

I have a question about Master’s studies in France.

If a student enrolls in an M1 program (that normally continues to M2 after passing), is it possible to stop after M1 and then apply for M2 at a different university?

Do you receive any kind of diploma or official certification for completing M1 (60 ECTS)?

Also, how do admission committees usually view applications from students who completed their M1 at another university? Is it common or more difficult?
