Anyone told NOT to wash after labiaplasty?

Hi everyone!! I had labiaplasty a few days ago and I have a question about hygiene that’s been bothering me.

My surgeon told me not to use a peri bottle or wash the area after using the toilet. The only aftercare I was given is to change gauze pads soaked in water each time. Also, I’m not applying any ointments, creams, or anything else to the area.

But honestly, I feel kind of unclean, and it’s making me uncomfortable. It feels strange not to rinse the area at all, especially after peeing.

Has anyone here had similar instructions and experience? How did it go for you?

Day 3

Guys, I can’t believe it, but I woke up today with ABSOLUTELY no pain! I slept like a baby tonight, I even did my makeup before my appointment, I’m eating normally and feeling great overall!! There’s only been literally a couple of drops of blood, so I think that’s a really good sign. My doctor has already cleared me to fly home tomorrow. Despite the terrible pain on the first day, I can already say it was worth it, and I’m really glad I went through with it!!!
