Lost 9 cats to parvo/panleukopenia outbreak and I am desperate for advice and help
We have a parvo outbreak and I need all the help I can get. My cats are dying one by one 💔
It started with Momo Bear. He had a surgery and his wound was healing well but he suddenly became lethargic and showed parvo symptoms. He is an indoor cat, I think he got the parvo at the vet. We rushed him to the vet and he was positive to other tests except for leukemia. He had to be revived twice but he didn't make it.
After that, even after disinfecting, 7 of my cats died. One was adopted out for treatment but didn’t survive either. Even Greygrey, who had survived UTI before and was isolated, still got infected. He fought for 3 days in the vet but I lost him too.
I now lost 9 cats and I am so devastated and it is hard to even function everyday. 😭
2 of my cats are showing early symptoms. Labubu and all the other cats are acting normal. I give them immunol and lc vit everyday.
If you had parvo outbreak before, I need tips. Any tips on how to protect the remaining cats better? How to handle this better? Any success stories of parvo outbreaks?
I also need help financially, I have used a lot of loans and begged to the clinic just to get them help and I am still in a lot of debts. Pls help, getting them tested alone costs almost 2000 per cat.
