Hey guys.

I was doing my usual dust cleaning from my laptop when I decided to take off the cooling system and wipe it down there.

And I’m not sure if this is the reason but it’s completely not turning on.

After cleaning I tried to turn it on, the on button lit up but the screen did not, i tried twice. Then I plugged it in and the battery light lit up orange, still no display and the on button light turned off.

So as a last attempt I decided to do the old reset to power on method. I pressed the on button for 30seconds, it turned off and so did the battery light…. now it’s not turning on.

Maybe there’s something wrong with the cables?

For context I
-lightly/gently with a far distance used a vacuum to suck up the dust and also blow some of it away.

-used a slightly damp but not wet cotton swab.

-Hp pavilion 2021
-overheated a bit last night

I know there’s some really smart people out here who are specialised in this, please help a fellow out 🙏

I have a really important presentation due this week and I really need help.
