Reapplicant Advice
Stats:
DAT: 450 AA, 440 PAT, 490 RC, 470 QR, 430 TS
3.4 GPA, 3.3 sGPA
Varsity athlete at an Ivy League uni (2000+ hours total over 4 years), 200 hours of bio research, 250 hours of shadowing (180 hours were working as a dental assistant), 100 hours of volunteering, ~90 hours of teaching assistant for an intro bio lab class
Applied early in September to 20 schools. I had one interview pre-December but was waitlisted on decision day and another last month but was also waitlisted. I felt both went decently well so not super sure why neither worked out. Just curious to get some thoughts on areas to strengthen in my application and some schools I should consider applying to next round. I'll be applying as soon as it opens so hoping that will boost my chances. CA resident so probably looking at private or OOS public.
