Calling Wisdom from Second Time Moms
We were originally planning for a February 2027 baby but got pregnant with a September 2026 baby. Only 4 months different but I feel like I’m struggling so much with not feeling ready.
Stressing about losing our old lives with my toddler, feeling like I’ll need to potty train my 2 year old ASAP when I probably would’ve waited closer to 2.5 (baby will arrive when toddler is 2.5) and feeling that I made a mistake.
I feel more overwhelm and fear than excitement when I think about my baby and then I get mad at myself for not being able to be one of those women that can’t just be excited and grateful. Any advice? What helped you through this transition? Thank you!
