Any suggestions for getting from Sucre to La Paz?

We tried to buy tickets for the night bus from Sucre to La Paz yesterday but they aren't running because of the blockades. We've now booked to stay in Sucre until Tuesday to see if there's any resolution but we're hearing that it's expected to get worse on Monday. We're heading to Peru after La Paz and Lake Titicaca.

Any suggestions for alternative methods of getting to La Paz? Thanks!

TLDR: If you had a month and a choice between mainland Ecuador, Colombia and Panama (not all 3), what would you do?

We're in the middle of 3 months in South America. So far, we've spent 10 days in Chile (expensive!) and we're in the middle of 3 weeks in Bolivia. Next up is 3 weeks in Peru and then we're flying from Lima to the Galapagos via Guayaquil. The Galapagos will definitely be a budget sucker but it's what we're really into and we've decided it's worth it for us.

After the Galapagos, we'll have a month before we need to fly to Chicago.

We had originally intended on traveling through mainland Ecuador, Colombia and finishing with some R&R in Panama after getting the 3 day boat from Colombia. Now that we have a better idea of our timing, we know that this would be too rushed in one month. If we were to choose 2 countries, which would lend themselves most to only 2 weeks? Also, which would have the most different experiences/ landscapes to what we'll have seen in Chile/ Bolivia/ Peru?
